The D5100 is a fully media-compatible differential pressure sensor (wet/wet pressure transmitter) which with its different variants is designed for a wide pressure range in a harsh industrial environment.
It can be used in all liquids and gases which are compatible with 316L stainless steel. These robust transmitters can withstand shocks of up to 50 g and vibrations of up to 20 g and have been developed for an operating temperature of -40 to +125°C. The models in the D5100 series with their standard output signals surpass the latest CE directives for heavy industry, including overvoltage and reverse polarity protection.
The transmitter is operated by a supply voltage of 8–30 V and comes in a number of electrical and mechanical versions. The D5100 is available for the following pressure ranges (either psi or bar):
D5100 pressure ranges: 0–1, 0–5, 0–15, 0–30, 0–50, 0–100, 0–300 and 0–500 psi
D5100 output signals:
amplified: 0.5–4.5 V (ratiometric),1–5 V (three-wire circuit), 4–20 mA (two-wire circuit); unamplified: 80 mV (1 psi) and 100 mV (≥ 5 psi)
D5100 plug connections:
amplified: wired, Packard, Bendix and Hirschmann connectors (DIN 43650); unamplified: cable
D5100 pressure connectors:
¼-19 BSPP male, ¼-18 NPT male, ¼-19 BSPP female and ¼-18 NPT female
If required a measurement protocol across the entire temperature range can be requested.
