DESCRIPTION

AMS 4712 is a new series of miniaturized pressure sensors ready for use. AMS 4712 comes in a robust and compact plastic package (IP67) and is designed for fast screw assembly in a harsh industrial environment. An integrated CMOS-DSP and EEPROM provide state-of-the-art technology that allows high accuracy in measurement capability.

One process of AMS 4712 production is calibration as well as compensation of temperature dependent drift of offset and span. No additional adjustment on the part of the customer is necessary.
The output provides a current-loop-signal of 4…20 mA in 2-wire-technology. This enables an interference-free transmission of the output signal, even via a large distance. Because AMS 4712 is ready for use, no additional components are required, except for a load resistor at the far end..

AMS 4712 (ultra low pressure) pressure ranges: differential or bidirectional differential: 0-5; 0-10mbar or ±5 and ±10mbar

AMS 4712 (low pressure) pressure ranges: differential or bidirectional differential: 0-20; 0-50; 0-100mbar or ±20; ±50 and ±100mbar

AMS 4712 pressure ranges: gage, differential or bidirectional differential: 0-200; 0-350; 0-1000 and 0-2000mbar or ±200; ±350 and ±1000mbar

AMS 4712 pressure ranges: absolute, 0-1000 and 0-2000mbar

AMS 4712 pressure range: barometric (absolute) 700-1200mbar

Pressure ranges with interim values are available on customer request.
